I had the privilege and opportunity of following the League of Legends team at the University of Western Ontario (Western University) during the 2019 College League of Legends Championship in Los Angeles.
Without any form of recognition, support or backing from the school, the team made a run to the final – knocking out multiple opponents with scholarship funding and competition arenas designed to attract top players in the process.
